MRT can deliver landscape materials directly to your home or project location in and around Metro Atlanta. Our trucks can hold as much as 15 cubic yards or 20 tons of material depending on the product. A sampling of the products we offer is included here. Please ask if you are looking for something different.
Determining how much material your project requires is as easy as a phone call to MRT. If you wish to determine the amount yourself simply multiply the length by the width of your project space, then multiply the area by the desired depth of the material. To find the cubic yards just divide by 27.
For example, if you have a planting bed or an island measuring 10 feet long by 12 feet wide, the area of your space is 120 square feet (L x W = Area). Then multiply that by your desired depth. An typical coverage for mulch is 3" deep (3" is .25 feet). 120 X .25 = 30 cubic feet. Then to convert to yards you would divide the 30 cubic feet by 27 = 1.11 yards.
